The Caisses populaires acadiennes is among the 10 best employers in the Maritimes

The Caisses populaires acadiennes has been selected as one of the Top Ten best employers in the Maritimes. This selection was made by Mediacorp Canada Inc., which publishes a list of the 100 best employers in Canada on an annual basis.

The Caisses populaires acadiennes was selected as one of the 200 top employers in the country and is one of the Top Ten best employers in the Maritimes.

The Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes was recognized for the benefits that it provides its 1,100 employees, particularly in terms of its medical insurance coverage, pension plan, college and university program fee payment plan, three vacation weeks following one year of work and the advantages of certain corporate programs such as Weight Watchers and Ovation. The gym and daycare centre at the Fédération des Caisses populaires acadiennes building located in Caraquet were also considered as important elements when choosing the Caisses populaires acadiennes as one of the 10 top employers in the Maritimes.

Other companies honoured in New Brunswick include Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Medavie Blue Cross, and Neill and Gunter Limited.

The selection process was based on a list of 6,000 companies that were invited to participate in the extensive application process. Following this initial process, a full assessment of each company narrowed the list down to a group of 200 companies, and finally, companies were selected and classified into regional categories, and ranked as the 100 best employers on a national level.
