The Caisses populaires acadiennes stand out in a national marketing competition

Caraquet, June 9, 2009 - The Caisses populaires acadiennes have won four awards for excellence in their marketing projects in a nationwide competition, at the annual Gala which took place at Château Frontenac in Québec, from June 1 to 3.

The Caisses populaires acadiennes won four Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards (AIME Awards) for the quality of its marketing campaigns in the following categories:

Corporate communications: Youhaveamessage.ca promotional campaign
Printed material: Student Advantage Line of Credit
Info letters: Marketing Direct campaign for Lines of Credit
Brochures: Asset Management marketing tools

"We are proud to be honoured nationally, and this only helps emphasize on our staff's high level of expertise in several spheres of activity in our institution, namely in the marketing sector. To me, this is a testament of our professionalism toward the members who put their trust in the caisses of this large network a daily basis" indicates Camille Thériault, CEO of the Mouvement des caisses populaires.

Represented by their Fédération, the Caisses populaires acadiennes were competing, for the first time, with other credit union federations across the country. This event celebrates the success of the credit unions from coast to coast. Credit unions of all sizes took part in the event in a variety of categories, in order to compete for these highly coveted awards. This gala is organized by the Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU). MACU is a non profit organization that works to support and enhance the development of marketing careers within caisses populaires and credit unions by means of education, networking and recognition programs. MACU will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2010.
