The Caisses populaires acadiennes offer $50,000 in scholarships

Caraquet, NB - Once again this year, students have a chance to win a scholarship from the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes. The Fondation provides $50,000 in scholarships annually, in the form of 50 scholarships of $1,000 each.
Registration forms are available to students online, on the Caisses populaires acadiennes website, www.acadie.com. In order to be more environmental friendly, paper format registration forms will no longer be available.
To enter, students must meet the eligibility requirements as described on the website. All registration forms must be completed before March 31, 2009. The scholarship draw will take place in April, and the winners will receive their scholarship during Co-operation Week, in October 2009.

Since 1983, The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes has been committed to support New Brunswick's education sector, through scholarships and various educational projects.
Over the years the Fondation has paid out scholarships to over 2,000 students thanks to a scholarship fund of over 1.7 million dollars, funded by the various components of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes.
The Fondation also supports the Lire, découvrir et grandir literacy program, which aims to help children from preschool up to second grade attain an acceptable literacy level by the end of their second year of schooling.
