The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes gives away $50,000 in scholarships

Caraquet - Once again this year, the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes is proud to support our youth. The Fondation is taking advantage of Cooperation Week to give away $50,000 in scholarships, representing 50 scholarships valued at $1,000 each, to students throughout the province, whose names are featured on a list divulged last April.

The Caisses populaires acadiennes and their affiliate co-ops once again want to congratulate the 2008 scholarship recipients and much success in their studies and future endeavours.

We are proud to mention that the Fondation has distributed over 1.2 million dollars in scholarships to date, to over 2,000 students across the province.

The Fondation is a support organization of the Caisses populaires acadiennes which administers the scholarship fund and allows the annual payout of $50,000 in scholarships, all the while being actively and financially involved with various partnerships.

Since 1983, the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes has handed out over 2,000 scholarships, representing over one million dollars.
