Acadia General Insurance opens its first office in the Acadian Peninsula

Acadia General Insurance, an affiliate of the Fédération des caisses populaires acadiennes, has inaugurated its first office destined to better meet the insurance needs of the residents of the Acadian Peninsula, today, in Tracadie-Sheila.

The new office has been open to the public since April 16. However, the official opening took place today, in presence of dignitaries for a ribbon cutting ceremony, following a meeting with the media of the region. Acadia General Insurance employs three full-time brokers in Tracadie-Sheila, adding to the six existing positions at its administrative unit, at the Fédération des caisses populaires acadiennes.

Denis Laverdière, General Manager of Acadia General Insurance states: "We are ready to serve the people of the Acadian Peninsula with competitive prices for automobile, residential and commercial insurance, but our main objective is to offer a higher quality personalized service, to make our place in the market. Our goal is to ensure a continuous presence with approximately 10 business locations within the next five years."

Last October, Acadia General Insurance began its operations as broker, announcing an internal offensive first destined to the employees of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes. This period allowed us to perfect the company's computer system as well as its personnel. The new office of Acadia General Insurance is located at 3353-1 Dr. Victor Boudreau Blvd.
