Win a $1,000 academic scholarship

Students could win a 2008 scholarship from the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes. The Fondation contributes $50,000 in scholarships annually and 50 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Students can register on line on the Caisses populaires acadiennes Web site www.acadie.com or pick up a participation form at any Caisses populaires acadiennes and Coops.

To be eligible to participate, students must meet the admission criteria described on the participation form and must complete this form on line or submit it to the Fondation before March 31, 2008. The scholarship draw will take place in April and students will receive their amounts during Cooperation Week in October 2008.

Since 1983, the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes has awarded more than a million dollars in post-secondary education scholarships to over 2,000 young people, from a $1.7 million dollar scholarship fund established by the different affiliates of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes.
